About Me
About me
A thought leader in health sector with more than 18 years of wide-ranging experience in leading and supporting development of health sector reforms especially related to health systems strengthening, Universal Health Coverage (UHC), health financing, health insurance and public health. Supporting Central and State Governments in development of strategies to address major health sector challenges. Unique experience of working with Government to support in development of strategies, collaborate and coordinate with government/private sector for implementing those and evaluating for their efficacy, effectiveness, sustainability and impact.
Managing health and social security portfolio for GIZ India from almost ten years and provided technical assistance to Government in reaching more than 650 million poor and vulnerable and 150 million formal workers through UHC efforts. Acted as technical lead for teams working on design and implementation of these UHC programs. Working closely with various countries in Asia and Africa and supported Governments of many countries in design of their UHC programs.
My Hobbies
When I'm not at work, I really love to play violin, read books and listen to music. When time permits I love to cook and share with family and friends. I also love trekking and palmistry.
What motivates me
If what I do can help making lives of people, especially poor and vulnerable ones, better then there is nothing better than that.I love tackling a good challenge and difficult problem. Finding solutions within given constraint excites me.
